Guild Wars Scribe Update: Victories and Random Acts of Kindness

scribeThe traveling monastery scribe of Guild Wars has been scribbling away to bring us updates on the war between the Luxons and  Kurzicks. The war wages on with no clear sign of who’s going to emerge victorious. In the recent days, Kurzick forces were able to push the Luxons past the Harvest Temple. Though it would seem that victory is in the hands of the Kurzicks, the Luxons changes their strategy causing the Kurzick Necromancers’ minions to turn against each other using Verata’s Aura. With no counter-strategy, the Kurzicks lost their recently conquered lands.

When the battle moved to Saltspray Beach, the Kurzicks went to an offense that quickly killed the opponent. The Luxons were obviously unprepared for the swift attack. The tables have turned and if the Luxons want to hold on to their reclaimed territory, they need a new strategy – and fast.

While The Scribe chronicles the war, he also took notice of random acts of kindness of exceptional individuals found throughout the lands of Cantha and Tyria. These men and women selflessly help their fellow heroes with the offer of weapons, tools, knowledge, and guidance.

Generosity abounds in the land, proof of which is Hydra Shadowhawk gifting a new student of the Shing Jea Monastery with a fine pair of daggers. In Kaineng City, Yatsui Tsundai spent a considerable time answering queries from lost or confused travelers. Sukimoto Daggerfist organized a spontaneous dance party after giving dance instructions to young students.
