Halo 3 details: Built-in game recording?
Despite Bungie’s problem with releasing Halo 3 info in magazines, videogamesblogger compiled a bunch of game details that they were able to get from EGM.
They report that Halo 3‘s single and multiplayer gameplay, you can now save your own game movies and re-watch them. Given that Microsoft has recently launched Soapbox, a video sharing feature, rumors are brewing that something similar for Xbox Live will be launched.
They also add that Halo 3 will have three retail SKUs: Standard Game, Collector’s Edition, and Legendary Edition. They speculate that the Legendary Edition will be sold at $79.99 but that’s just their intelligent guess. Valhalla, one of the new maps will be a totally new map from the ground up. It goes without saying that map packs will be made available in the future.
So will we be seeing even more homemade Halo 3 videos all over the place? Time will tell.
