Harvest Moon: Summer Harvest Homebrew Beta
Homer, a loyal member of the community, has released a public beta of the upcoming Harvest Moon homebrew game. This beta version does not contain much to do, but it shows a lot of promise for the future of this program. Harvest Moon games have always featured lengthy gameplay times and daily chores to do each day. This beta version features NPC interaction, running, walking, collision detection, dialog boxes, and terrain. At the current time, the beta is fully “modable” due to the data directory within the game folder. If you wish to add your own sprites and/or terrain, then you will have to edit the image files. This is a very early beta, but shows some great promise for the future. This is one game that no one should miss out on when it is released! Keep up the good work Homer! Note: Some 2.0+ users have experienced difficulties with this and eLoader, but Homer has a fix. For the meantime, set eLoader to auto-load your game and it should work. Homer is attempting to fix this problem though.
