Heavenly Sword heaven sent without delay?
Despite the PS3 delay in Europe, some game developers actually see this misfortune with optimism and as a blessing in disguise. One of those developers is Ninja Theory. During the previous GDC in London, they’ve already established that Heavenly Sword would be a “launch window” release.
Upon being asked about how the PS3’s delay had affected the release of Heavenly Sword, Ninja Theory’s co-founder Nina Kristensen replied with a rather direct answer, “We’ve always been a launch window title so it hasn’t affected us at all.”
Allowing one-on-one combat, group combat, or army combat, the fighting game promises to be a “blockbuster action-movie experience.” While its release date isn’t running late in Europe, for those in America, the game won’t come out within the year.
