Hideki Kamiya wants Nintendo to force him to make a Star Fox game

Shigeru Miyamoto loves Star Fox. Bayonetta creator Hideki Kamiya feels the same way. In fact, he’s even willing to make one, but only if Nintendo forces him to.

 

Kamiya, who also has the critically-acclaimed Okami under his belt, recently Tweeted that all it would take to convince him to do a Star Fox game is if Nintendo literally asks him to make one at gunpoint.

 

“I want Nintendo’s staff to come to Platinum, stick guns at us and tell us ‘You guys make a new Star Fox.,” his Twitter post said.

 

If that doesn’t happen, Kamiya still has a back-up suggestion for Nintendo: just let the guys who made Star Fox 64 develop a new one. Apparently, Star Fox 64 is tops in Kamiya’s book, mostly because of its scenario and the heated battles.
