Hitman Blood Money final PAL release date announced

Eidos has now announced the official PAL territories release date of May 26th for all systems: Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2 and PC. Hitman: Blood Money was delayed numerous times, but this official press release should set the latest date pretty much in stone.

The fourth iteration in the long-going series puts players once again into the shoes of 47, a professional assassin now hunted himself. The Glacier engine that has carried the game since it’s first appearance in 1998 has been updated and enhanced to truly bring Blood Money’s world to life with an impressive number of characters on-screen, various lighting effects and smooth animations.

The Xbox 360 version of the game was only recently announced, and with the simultaneous release date for all platforms, being slightly worried about the actual, promised enhancements for the 360 version is justified. Then again, we don’t know since when IOI Interactive has actually taken a Xbox 360 port into account, so we’ll see very soon if the 360 version is worth the extra $10.
