Hitman Reborn! spotted on mag V-Jump

Hitman Reborn! on V-Jump - Image 1Back in December of last year, we told you about the upcoming video game title Hitman Reborn! (or just Reborn! in the US) for Wii and PlayStation 2. For those of you who are not familiar with this, it originally began as a manga on Shounen Jump much like other games such as One Piece: Unlimited Adventure.

Anyway, after five long months of silence, Marvelous Interactive released new images of Hitman Reborn! on Japanese magazine V-Jump aside from a few new bits of information. Apparently, the game will be called Hitman Reborn! Dream Hyper Battle and it’s going to be about “Battle Mafia Action.”

Several characters from the manga will be featured as well. However, it is still not clear how many of these characters will be included and how they’re going to be controlled.

Hitman Reborn! will be released on the PS2 in Japan this coming August while the Wii version is going to be available a little later after that. There is still no word if Marvelous Interactive has plans to bring the game outside of Japan.
