The latest version of Homebrew Browser is now out, courtesy of Wiibrew developer teknecal. In case you missed out on the previous releases of this uber-useful program, the HBB allows you to download and update your Wiibrew straight from your console.
The program is now on v0.2.0, and now supports applications which load files from the SD card. The program also has several other additional features, all of which are outlined in the changelog here (be sure to read the rest of the documentation included in the download ):
- Supports applications which load files from the SD card
- Added categorisation of homebrew applications
- Ability to install HBB via wiiload
- Updated tick icons
- Updated “Download” image to change to “Update” if you already have the application installed
- New icon displays even if you have an older version of the application
- Fixed issue when downloading 4 applications HBB would exit
- Does not download the icon.png file if you already have that application installed
The program now also has added support for a bunch of other Wiibrew programs, including the compact music player, MiniMP3 Player. Hopefully we get to see more of the Wiibrew community jumping into the project.
