FORE! Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2 is slowly getting closer to its release date, and as it just so happens, the folks at SCEA have announced that the game has reached gold status. Learn more about this, and see a trailer for the game, after the jump!

Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2 is slowly getting closer to its release date, and as it just so happens, Chris Hinojosa-Miranda, Associate Producer at SCEA, has announced that the game has reached gold status.

Hinojosa-Miranda notes a couple of interesting new tweaks for the game, such as new characters (11 of them) and cosmetic/stat-boosting items (Chicken Nugget Pets FTW!). He also talked about the courses that’ll be a part of the game, with some of them paying homage to the first Open Tee – something the fans can geekgasm over.
