Nintendo DS cat - Image 1Homebrew developer madcat1990 delivers yet again, as the latest version of iFile for the Nintendo DS is now available. iFile version 0.15 adds another batch of improvements to the nifty homebrew application to let your file management tasks be much more easier.

The most noteworthy upgrade in iFile v0.15 would have to be the bumped up cap of files that appear on the list, which is now at 600. Here’s the changelog:

  • Fixed the typo (Folrder xD) (thanks to Josiah for telling me about this)
  • Canceling renaming was broken, now fixed (Thanks to Gh0st for telling me this)
  • Raised the number of files permitted to show to 600 (Hope that’s enough -.-”)
  • Added check for deleting folders( if something goes wrong he’ll warn you!)
  • Fixed a bug that occurred when entering the first folder in the card’s root!
  • iFile now says happy birthday (When the right time comes of course XD)
  • Source now under GPL License v3
  • Can now create folders! (may be buggy)
  • By Pressing “A” when keyboard on screen, it’s the same as pressing enter
  • Added check for successful folder creation
  • Now supports multi extension files (ie: this.file.is.a.jpg is now identified as an image =D)
  • Fixed an extension bug (case is now ignored when checking file extensions)

iFile users would have noticed by now that madcat1990 is quick on releasing new versions to make his app better. We’re sure to keep tabs on how far he can go, so watch this space for updates!
