Indie developer’s project gives Mega Man 9 an HD remix

While Capcom has been busying itself with bringing the retro feel back into Mega Man, Eric Ruth has been busy giving the Blue Bomber an HD remix. Ruth, the independent developer responsible for the 8-bit Left 4 Dead de-make, has completed his latest work and released this video of Mega Man 9 HD Remix.

Ruth’s previous project, Pixel Force: Left 4 Dead, saw a current a current gen game backtrack into the 8-bit days. It seems that the indie developer is capable of doing it the other way around as well. For fear of a C&D letter from Capcom, however, Ruth did not finish this game, so it will not be downloadable like his L4D project.
