A Resistance 2 community manager revealed more information on the game’s co-op mission. According to JS, each of the six maps would take 15-20 hours to complete – that’s a total of 90-120 hours of more gameplay. That’s some serious gaming mileage.
Insomniac Games community manager JS provided some info on the length of the co-op mode in Resistance 2. He said each of the six maps has different areas available, and each of those would take 15-20 hours to complete.
There are six locations, each has quite a few different areas, and a single-playthrough of any will not show you nearly the entire map or all of the different set-ups on it due to the randomization of the playpath. It probably takes between 15-20 hours to see every single co-op set-up and encounter.
With the addition of the co-op mode, it looks like we can get more mileage out of Resistance 2 than it already gives us. Completionists would have a job getting everything, but I’m sure they’ll have fun getting there.
