Retro gaming FTW! Sega released the 1989 classic, Golden Axe earlier today into the App Store, giving the iPhone a touch of oldschool gaming action. Ax, Tyris, and Gilius relive their battle against the evil Death Adder, this time in a new platform.
Retro gaming FTW! Sega released the 1989 classic, Golden Axe earlier today into the App Store, giving the iPhone a touch of oldschool gaming action. Ax, Tyris, and Gilius relive their battle against the evil Death Adder, this time in a new platform.
The gameplay, Touch Arcade reports, is pretty much the same as the one in Genesis, which is also consistent with the one in the arcades. The iPhone controls provide good performance, so it might justify the US$ 4.99 price tag.
