Jaffe clarifies: God of War III VGA footage is not what he saw

God of War 3The other week, ex-God of War director David Jaffe revealed on his blog that Sony just showed him some God of War III footage. Fast-forward through the timeline a bit, and Geoff Keighley of Spike TV confirmed that the upcoming GoW3 footage to be shown during their VGA event will indeed be real-time graphics. Now comes a bit of a caveat from David Jaffe: what Sony showed him the other week is NOT the same footage scheduled to be revealed during VGA.

The other week, ex-God of War director David Jaffe revealed on his blog that Sony just showed him some God of War III footage. Though he’s not part of the project anymore, he’s still all praises for it: “It looks like a painting come to life,” he commented.

Fast-forward through the timeline a bit, and Geoff Keighley of Spike TV confirmed that the upcoming GoW3 footage to be shown during their VGA event will indeed be real-time graphics.

Now comes a bit of a caveat from David Jaffe: what Sony showed him the other week is NOT the same footage scheduled to be revealed during VGA. Ah, just as I pointed out the other day.
