Japan can’t escape Wii fever

We’ve seen it in North America, and now we’re about to see it in Japan. That video clip right there is yet another evidence of just how much people really are willing to stay and sleep on the streets for their much-awaited Wii. And that’s a pretty long line for a pre-order right there!

The store seems to be an underground one, probably in a subway station. And as you can see, the line goes all the way up to where there is actual sunlight — the main streets. There seems to be no signs of people camping out, but then again, we wouldn’t really be surprised if that’s what they end up doing.

Oh, but if Nintendo can only make the remaining wait a bit more tolerable!
