Juiced 2: freshly-squeezed interview on the joy of drift
Richard Badger, Juice Games‘ point person for Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights (PS3, Xbox 360, PC), talks to GameTrailers about Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights tearing more than a few streets apart. London, Paris, Rome (that is the Coliseum, right?), all the traffic violation hot spots. But what Richard really wanted to talk about was drifting.
And, as he suggests, if you’ve played Sega Rally Racing long before, then you know what the game is all about. To be honest, some of us here have seen Initial D: The Movie, so it’s like been there, done that, but the prospects of competitive online drift events “with your buddies” does perk some interest.
Not that the AE-86 making an appearance in the game anytime soon, we think. But then, the racers here just love to unleash their inner Takumi. it’s so hard to keep them from doing so in NFS: Carbon, it’ll be hard to keep them from doing so in Juiced 2 (September 2007) – heck, it’s hard to keep them from doing so in the parking lot.
We’re in trouble.
