Juicy, Bite-Sized Prey Gameplay Movies
Prey is one of those games whose reputation precedes its delayed release date. Maybe it’s the unique Native American storyline. Or perhaps because it’s been in the incubation stage for a long, long, long time. Whatever it is, the title has earned enough hype-points to guarantee sales.
Based on its sneak preview, Prey promises not to disappoint. The game demo has received thumbs up for its excellent visuals and unique gameplay elements. Early reviews claim it contains bloody events that will make even jaded gamers blink (and Jack Thompson even sicker).
In the Technology Department, Prey’s unique portal system is generating big buzz. These portals are embedded in various locations while some materialize in thin air. But each one teleports lead character Tommy seamlessly to a completely different section of the level unhampered by load time. The portals even allow shooting through to the other side.
Prey is slated for July, and hopefully, it won’t get delayed again.
