So Jump Festa 2008 has come and gone and now we have a whole new list of games we’ll have to wait till the new year to be able to play. Some of those games we’ve already reported on, but here are some more so you can torture yourself with waiting for them.

First up, Nintendo did come with Super Smash Bros. Brawl as promised, and the game was indeed playable. And as a pleasant surprise, Capcom also came with Devil May Cry 4, with participants willing to wait in line for 150 minutes to get to play.

Another game that graced Jump Festa was Phantasy Star Portable, which featured 4-person multiplayer. Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit was also present and playable for both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.

The big hitters came from Square Enix, who came with Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy XIII. Their presentation also came with a short clip of Parasite Eve for mobile phones. It’s to be noted that both Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII trailers both ended with “Only for PlayStation 3” which should satisfy theories and debates on the matter.

Aside from these games, a bunch of titles that have already been released also graced the show, like NiGHTS and Super Mario Galaxy. Now that the event is concluded we can look forward to more details on the upcoming games.
