Killing Time (24/7): a free movie for your PSP

Killing Time (24/7) features violence, partial nudity, and adult themes. Now this is a pretty interesting way to get your movie to the public. John Lamond Jr. and the folks at Sukhumvit Films are releasing the entirety of their movie for free download onto your PSP.

You read that right. An entire feature film for download.

The film, “Killing Time (24/7),” is the story of Jake, a professional hitman who does nothing but hang out with friends and enjoy the company of women between jobs: a dead-end life, if you could call it that. In this strange tale, Jake finds the monotony of his occupation disrupted when he finds out, a bit late, that his next job is to assassinate his father.

If it isn’t obvious yet, you can definitely tell that this is going to have mature themes involved. Their synopsis calls it “a gritty nihilistic look at modern-day amoral, materialistic city living.” We just call it a cool way to let the public know about a movie.

While the movie is free, there is a link for donations on their website if you happen to like the film. They’re also coming out with a DVD of the film with extra features for those who want to watch the film on a bigger screen. Until we get more word on this feature film, you’ll just have to kill some time yourself by watching the trailer, or you can check out their website for the large download file. Enjoy!
