Kojima to create new original title after Peace Walker and Rising
Speaking to the European PlayStation Blog in an interview, Hideo Kojima gave some more gameplay info about his next Solid masterpiece, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. After this one and Metal Gear Solid: Rising (PS3, Xbox 360, and PC), however, the real Big Boss behind Metal Gear Solid is set to leave the franchise in the hands of his younger colleagues at Kojima Productions, leaving the creative genius wide open for new games.

After this one and Metal Gear Solid: Rising (PS3, Xbox 360, and PC), however, the real Big Boss behind Metal Gear Solid is set to leave the franchise in the hands of his younger colleagues at Kojima Productions, leaving the creative genius wide open for new games.
As for leaving the franchise behind, Kojima isn’t worried at all. He believes that the young blood will add new features into the franchise, effectively creating a new breed of Metal Gear Games. In fact, he’s actually looking forward to the output that they’ll be coming up with.
So after working on Big Boss and Raiden in their respective MGS games, Kojima’s passing the torch unto his youngsters. Answering a fan question as to what he’ll be up to after MGS, the producer simply said he’ll be moving on to “a new original title.”
