Kotaku criticizes GameRadar for “gay article”

In one of his latest articles, Kotaku writer Flynn de Marco bashed Games Radar scribe Matt Cundy for his second article seasoned with gay innuendo titled “Men Kissing Men.” De Marco questioned the article’s point and described the write-up as “poorly executed” and “bland.”

Kotaku’s writer also asserted that the article and others of the sort do a disservice to the gay community and do not help in heightening the visibility of gay gamers in the electronic entertainment community.

He then argued that the society in general has come to a point where gay culture has become part of everyday life, but conceded that in the gaming world, things are a little different and the progression may be a little slower than in other social sectors.
