Xbox 360 gamers will be getting Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light on August 18th. PS3 and PC owners, however, will have to wait at least a month for the game to become available on their platforms of choice.

Crystal Dynamics brand manager Karl Stewart revealed that the latest Lara Croft game will be an Xbox 360 exclusive for at least four weeks as a condition for participating in Microsoft’s Summer of Arcade promo event.

“The agreement with Microsoft is, in order to participate in their hugely successful Summer of Arcade promotion, there is a window of exclusivity. That window of exclusivity is a set four weeks,” Stewart told Eurogamer.

This means that the soonest it can become available for PS3 and PC is September 15. Stewart explained that they’ve already picked release dates for the remaining versions but these have yet to be approved. Crystal Dynamics hopes to announce PS3 and PC release dates within a week to ten days.
