Let’s bring back the Succubus for raid, Warlocks

World of Warcraft - the Warlock's pet, Succubus - Image 1While Warlocks have relied on their trusty Imp in raids for almost forever, they’ve practically made Succubus a permanent sideshow. It’s been pretty prevalent in the European WoW Forums, but only Ezerana, a level 60 Gnome Warlock, actually got around to saying something about it.

So Imps are the number one choice for Warlocks, but perhaps we should reconsider that option. Yes, we know there are those special grinds that you have reserved that require her “specialties,” but to completely forget to call her in the morning? Man, that’s whack.

Okay so maybe she isn’t the best melee fighter around and she isn’t built like a tank (thankfully, in a sense). It doesn’t mean she should be abandoned for the common chores you do eight hours a day, farming and levelling and all that jazz. Her abilities are helpful, plus the fact that she can converse with you while you’re on a lonely or paired quest – minus the annoying parts.

Heck, everything is pretty much annoying in World of Warcraft: mobs, raids, lags, nerfs, Blizzard… And yet there you are, still weathering away the letters on your keyboard just to grab that next tier armor and those precious Arena points. See? We all live with it. And let’s shove off the laziness growing on our shoulders: Succubus in a raid is workable. All she needs is a little TLC.

So don that polished armor, comb your facial hair, grab a Soul Shard and take a breath check: let’s get the Succubus back.
