LittleBigControversy: Is it over? Patch 1.02 now available

Alrighty then! - Image 1Following the release of the v1.01 patch for LittleBigPlanet the other day, v1.02 is now available. This time, the patch addresses the controversial song that led to the game’s delay.

Finally. Immediately following the release of the v1.01 patch for LittleBigPlanet, patch v1.02 is now available. Unlike the previous patch, which apparently still plays the controversial song, this new version actually removes the entire vocal track, leaving us with a nice instrumental. If Sony did not want to be offensive, then this patch ought to fix that problem. They wanted LittleBigPlanet to be a game for everyone, after all.

There’s nothing on what else may be in the patch, and we probably won’t notice the difference since the game isn’t out yet. Maybe someone out there who got one of those pricey pre-recall copies on eBay can compare when they get the patch. As for a release date, LittleBigPlanet is scheduled to be released in North America next week and the UK on the 5th of November.
