Those keeping tabs on news about Sony and Media Molecule‘s LittleBigPlanet may remember reading about the disappointing news concerning Media Molecule not opening the beta testing phase to the public. But as it turns out, there is still a chance for the public to get their hands on the LittleBigPlanet beta…well, if they pray hard enough.

LittleBigPlanet‘s technical director, Alex Evans, labeled the announcement of the public beta not happening as mere “miscommunication.” Apparently, the public beta of the game is possible, but there are some kinks to work out on. “ItÂ’s a question of how much, how big,” Evans said when posed with the question about the possibility of a public beta.

Of course, this hardly means that we’re indeed going to get a LittleBigPlanet public beta, but it’s infinitely better than a flat out “NO.”
