In The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar, the people of Middle-Earth fear the Barrow-downs. This is so for good reason, as the region is populated with Barrow-wights – fell spirits that possess the land’s dead.

One of the more infamous places in the area is the Dead Spire, Othrongroth and Ost Gorthad. Another such place is the Haudh Iarchith. It was once the home of a great and wealthy family, but is now a den of Barrow-wights.

The hunters of Bree have tried to cleanse the place of the wights, but to no success. If you want to try your luck, you can find Haudh Iarchith in the west of Bree. Clearing the area will help improve your standing with the hunters of Bree.
