Lord of the Rings Online: The Neekerbreekers of Doom

As legends turn to myth, and myth turns to fairy tale, the neekerbreekers were an often forgotten thing in Middle Earth. Aside from the fact that they were hardly ever seen, nothing is known much about them. But that’s before playing Lord of the Rings Online.

The designers of the game have shown us some renders of this elusive insect. Once, they were just annoying as they populated the Midgewater Marshes in swarms that buzzed, until eventually a shadow moved over the land, and the insects have become more aggressive. And one instance of which is another variant of this insect, the Norbog which lives in the cracks of the Ered and Luin.

Let’s just hope that, if these insects are as pesky as they sound like, we can carry around a big swatter to shoo them away. How can you kill them? Swords and arrows? Good luck!
