LOTRO’s Creatures of Middle-earth: Bog-lurkers

LOTR Online

Turbine has just released the latest information about another type of creature found in Middle-earth known as the bog-lurker. As you can see, this creature looks like roots and bramble due to the fact that it has marsh-plants alive on its back while its limbs are formed of bark and wood.

Unique to the LOTRO universe, the bog-lurkers fall into the same “natural” class of creature alongside Ents and many others. These isolated creatures reside in wetlands of Eriador, and adventurers should be careful unless they want to face such a creature. A slight rusting in the brush could turn out to be a dreaded bog-lurker, whose services have been employed by dark powers.
