LW Sets socket bonuses fixed
Finally, the Leatherworking sets in Blizzard‘s World of Warcraft have been fixed (as was noticed by XiXa). To be more precise, the socket bonuses were corrected from the useless stat boosts to the real useful buffs. This is good news for all you leather-wearing characters in WoW. (My Shaman and Paladin are beyond that, but I still recall those days fondly.)
For those who aren’t too familiar with sockets, a socket is a slot in a piece of clothing or armor where you can place a gem. Sockets can hold a gem of the same color as them, with the exception of the Meta socket which is used to house rarer gems. The Meta socket can only be found on helms or head gear. The gear that we’re about to mention has the item involved and the socket bonus for each. Item-Socket Bonus list:
- Netherstrike Belt: Socket +3 Spell Crit
- Netherstrike Bracers: +2 spell Damage
- NetherStrike Breastplate: +5 Spell Damage
- Windhawk Belt: +4 Spell Damage
- Windhawk Barcer: +2 Intellect
- Windhawk Hauberk: +5 Spell Damage
The items are perfect for a shaman, but still, spell casters and spell spammers would be well served by the new benefits the armor now grants.
