Magic drills and pigtails in Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure screens

Parin

So you think the PSP is only for boys? Nope. Girls rock too. Besides, how is it not possible if you’ve got a girl who wields a Monster Drill and has disjointed pigtails that magically float in place? Admit it, Parin is cool. If you won’t, then at least say she’s cute. We think so.

Japan loves Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure and Mastiff LLC wants to find out if North America would as well. It’s an action-adventure, realtime RPG set in a parallel dimension of ghosts and monsters, or, as the Japanese would have it, obake. The premise of the game is something like it came from Studio Ghibli (like “Spirited Away” or “My Neighbor Totoro”). The age-old concept of a girl going through the “rabbit hole” is present. More than that, we don’t want to spoil anything.

We can spoil you with more screenshots, though! Today we’ve got more of ’em: more monsters, more drill-action, and more of her anti-fly-away pigtails.
