Mandatory Xbox Live Update Kills Xbox 360s!

Microsoft’s latest mandatory Xbox Live update, announced just last week, has apparently been causing more harm than good. A large number of furious users are reporting that the update has been causing their machines to crash after having been downloaded and installed. While some users are reporting only occasional crashes, in extreme cases Xboxes have been rendered virtually unusable. No previous update of this sort has caused problems on this scale.

Microsoft is said to be working on the problem, but as of this writing a solution has yet to be announced. We’ll keep you posted.
