Mario Kart Wii is racing to the shelves in a month’s time. More gameplay details are being revealed from the removal of the snaking technique to today’s report of a change for the classic Balloon Battle Mode.

Normally, three popped balloons will send you out of the fight. However, the newest issue of Nintendo Power magazine notes that you can still join the race even if you have lost those balloons.

That means you can still fight and cause mayhem until time runs out – but according to the report, you won’t cause any damage. Reports also say that your team will lose a point each time your balloon-less car gets hit by other players in the race.
