When pre-order goods are all the rage with publishers wanting to make a pretty penny, you gotta wonder what Activision has in mind for the heroes and villains of the Marvel Civil War. Activision has just announced their bid for your buck while we wait for the release of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 (PS3, PSP, PS2, Xbox 360, Wii and DS). When pre-order goods are all the rage with publishers wanting to make a pretty penny, you gotta wonder what Activision has in mind for the heroes and villains of the Marvel Civil War.
In conjunction with GameStop, pre-ordering a copy of the PS3 or Xbox 360 version of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 in-store or online will fetch you an exclusive playable character – Juggernaut. I don’t know how “exclusive” is exclusive here, but something tells me that Activision and Vicarious Visions won’t add a character to a game just for GameStop’s sake.
If ever something pops out about an alternative way to unlock the massive stampeding non-mutant, we’ll let you know. Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 still doesn’t have a release date, so we’ll keep you posted on that as well.
