Another WWII shooter gets grounded as Electronic Arts announced that the release date featured in a trailer of Medal of Honor: Airborne released back in April at GameStop was specifically for the PC and Xbox 360 versions. Instead of an August 28 release date though, the PlayStation 3 version would be arriving by November.

As of press time, there has been no official word on the reason behind the delay but that it was already mentioned in some announcements that the PlayStation 3 system will get their copies by November. So it would appear that the game would have to join up with the Q4 title releases, a quarter shy of the PlayStation 3’s possibly hard-hitting lineup of titles.

More on the developments as they come in. Stay tuned folks!
