EA is trumpeting Medal of Honor Airborne as the most believable game that will hit the market this year. You play the role of a private first class and you’ll be sent all over Europe from Sicily to Nazi Germany to help win the Allies some battles. Using a free-roaming gameplay style, fans call the shots as to what they want to do when they want to do it. Heck, even the spot where you get dropped by the plain is your call. Be careful though. Different drop zones will pose different threats.

EA also promises explosive online play where Sony PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC users can battle it out with other subscribers to see who’s got the skills. Everything from the weapons to the map designs have historical basis in them. Buck up, private. You’ll be away for a long time.
