Metal Gear Online to come bundled with MGS 4
Video game news site CVG reports that according to the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, Kojima Productions and Konami‘s Metal Gear Online will come bundled with Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots when the latter is released next year.
Metal Gear Online is a spin-off of the popular Metal Gear series. As the game’s title suggests, it focuses on online play and supports multiplayer stealth battles for up to 16 players. The game also features a single-player mode.
The Famitsu report also shed some light on two of the new characters in Metal Gear Online. One is Sunny, a female who “escaped the grasp of the Patriots”. The other is Trevin, a weapon launderer who will be useful in situations when Snake has to erase weapon IDs.
