Hideo Kojima will be making a few announcements regarding Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker tomorrow. For today, though, the Kojima Productions blog is letting us in on something that’s hopefully more mundane than tomorrow’s bombshells: install sizes for Peace Walker.

Those who opt to purchase the game’s UMD version will need to make sure that there’s 1GB of free space (2.5GB for those who get the download version) on their memory sticks if they want to take advantage of Peace Walker‘s optional install.

The optional install comes in two flavors, Small and Full, which require 330MB and 800MB, respectively. Installing the game on a memory stick results not only in faster loading times but also fully-voiced realtime com dialogue.
