Metal Slug 3 coming to Xbox Live Arcade on January 2

are coming to the Xbox Live Arcade in a few days and it’s sporting spanking new features: online co-op via Xbox Live, updated HD graphics, and different route selections, among others. More details in the full article.

Who can forget Fio, Eri, Marco, and Tarma? It’s Nazca Corporation and SNK‘s fourth title in the Metal Slug series, Metal Slug 3. Fans of this fun video game title will be happy to know that it’s set to invade Xbox Live Arcade on Wednesday (9:00 A.M. GMT), January 2, 2008. A good way to start the year with a bang, right?

So the joint crew of SPARROWS (Fio and Eri) and PF Squad members (Marco and Tarma) are coming back and they’re out to quash another the coup attempt by General Morden. Of course, if you’ve played Metal Slug 3 before, you’d know that the said coup is more than it seems. Anyway, Metal Slug 3 will be available on Xbox Live Arcade for 800 MS Points and it sports spanking new features:

• Multiple routes: Different routes through the stages allow for extended replayability.
• Different metal slugs: Various slugs are available for help in battle. Handle all the different slugs to learn their capabilities and complete the mission.
• Individual enemies: Different enemies appear depending on which route the player takes, and each enemy has its own unique characteristics.
• Classic arcade graphics: The classic graphics are faithfully reproduced for your gaming enjoyment.
