Metal Slug XX coming this February

That ESRB listing for Metal Slug XX for PSP has been made official. Atlus has announced that the latest entry from SNK will be available in North America next month.

 

Metal Slug XX will be available on February 23, although it’s not clear whether it’s getting a retail release or if it’ll be available on the PlayStation Store only. The announcement does mention DLC, though: for a dollar, players can download Leona as a playable character.

 

Aside from the series’ trademark run-and-gun gameplay, the game will also feature a Combat School with over 70 challenging mission-based trials. Metal Slug XX also supports two-player adhoc co-op.

 

Oh, and those Metal Slug boxers that SNK had as pre-order goodies in Japan? Atlus is also giving those away on the PlayStation Blog along with some Japanese promotional posters.
