Seems SNK put thing into high gear for this game, since the rating comes just a little more than a week after it was announced for Japan. Perhaps we can look forward to a December 23 release as well?

Similar to what we saw when From Software’s Armored Core 3 Portable was rated, SNK is also listed as the publisher for Metal Slug XX. Ignition has traditionally handled SNK’s retail releases, so this could indicate that Metal Slug XX will be a PSN release. If so, we can probably say goodbye to that underwear pre-order freebie SNK is offering in Japan.
