Metal sumo and low-grav basketball in Fuzion Frenzy 2 gameplay video
Today we have a gameplay video from TGS 2006 that showcases two of the 40 mini games that will be playable in Fuzion Frenzy 2, the sequel to Microsoft‘s Xbox multiplayer party game. Set in space, this Xbox 360 title combines futuristic arcade action, mini-games, tournament modes, and custom tailored games with online features such as multiplayer and customizable tournaments.
The first one is a little game called Sumo Paint. In Sumo Paint, your character climbs inside a metal sphere, kinda like American Gladiators. The objective here is to roll over as many panels of the arena as possible. When you roll over a panel, you paint that panel with your color, and when your opponent rolls over a panel you’ve already claimed, then that panel gets painted with his or her color as well. You can also choose to knock your opponents off the edge of the arena to give you more time to steal your panels back.
The second mini-game is kinda like no-holds-barred basketbrawl. We’re guessing this is the one called Super Slam Dunk. The objective this time is to dunk the ball as many times as you can. Easy enough, but then you have to literally fight for the ball with the other people in the cage. Yep, Super Slam Dunk is a low-gravity cage match full-contact basketball game. Whoo!
