Metallic Blue and Deep Red DualShock3s coming to Japan

About two months ago, we got our first look at new colors for the DualShock 3, “Metallic Blue” and “Deep Red.” Since it’s TGS, it’s announcement time. Sony Computer Entertainment Japan made the confirmation, and these two shiny new controllers will be adding some more personality to the PS3’s controller collection.

About two months ago, we got our first look at new colors for the DualShock 3, “Metallic Blue” and “Deep Red.” Since it’s TGS, it’s announcement time. Sony Computer Entertainment Japan made the confirmation, and these two shiny new controllers will be adding some more personality to the PS3’s controller collection.

Unlike the three other colors, Black, Ceramic White, and Satin Silver, there isn’t a Metallic Blue or a Deep Red PS3. The two new colors will be staying with controllers, at least for now.

They hit store shelves on October 29th in Japan with a ¥ 5,500 price tag (about US$ 60), inclusive of tax.
