Metallica rocking iPhones in new Tap Tap Revenge game

They partnered up with Activision for Guitar Hero: Metallica earlier this year, and now they’re teaming up with Tapulous for a stab at the iPhone gaming market.

The latest entry in Tapulous’ Tap Tap Revenge rhythm franchise is Tap Tap Revenge: Metallica, which is now available from the Apple App Store. The US$ 4.99 game comes with the following Metallica tracks:

  • Enter Sandman
  • Sad But True
  • King Nothing
  • All Nightmare Long
  • Some Kind of Monster
  • Master of Puppets
  • Seek & Destroy
  • Fuel
  • One
  • For Whom the Bell Tolls

Accompanying the career mode is a new fast-paced Arcade Mode where players are challenged with bombs and other special objects that make the game more fun than ever before. Tap Tap Revenge: Metallica is also the first game in the Tap Tap Revenge series to include a Bluetooth-based Battles Mode. Here’s a full features list:

  • 4 boss tracks, with some of the most difficult tapping action ever in Tap Tap Revenge.
  • Hard tracks in landscape mode with four rails, and an incredible Extreme mode with tracks in landscape mode with FIVE rails. Another Tap Tap Revenge first!
  • Arcade mode, allowing you to test your mettle against weapons thrown at you by the computer.
  • Battle mode, so that you can go head to head against your friends on Bluetooth, lobbing weapons at one another to break streak and gain the advantage!

  • Superior stability, blazing performance, a Metallica news feed, and Facebook Connect to flaunt your scores to the World.
