Microsoft Confirms Cross-Platform Title’s Release in 2007
It seems that we would be seeing more of PC and Xbox 360 cross-platform gaming come 2008.
Steven Blackburn, Microsoft UK Third-Party account manager gave everyone a sneak peek of Microsoft‘s cross-platform plans in the near future during the Games Convention Developer Conference. He said that Shadowrun will be launched early 2007, the first cross-platform playable game for the 360.
According to Blackburn, we could expect the first third-party cross-platform content on autumn next year, and “floodgates to open for all titles” come 2008.
Hmmm… if everything goes according to Microsoft‘s plans, then there’s a lot of things in gaming to get excited about.
