Midnight Racing Goes To PS3

Did you get to see the list of Sony titles from TGS that we posted a while back? Well, whether you did or did not, one title may have failed a bit to catch your attention. Wangan Midnight is one of the more popular racing manga and videogames in Japan. It is such a pity though, the PS2 version wasn’t translated to English.

Wangan Midnight is now officially coming to the PS3. We would be very delighted should Sony remember that gamers over this side of the planet also love fast cars, dangerous curves and drama. The original story features young ambitious racer Akio Asakura who has trouble forming intimate relationships and his love interest, Reina Akikawa – fashion model by day and a street racer by night. All previous versions and even the movies have been faithful to the manga. We expect, of course, nothing less.

Aside from the vague release date of Spring 2007, no other details are currently known. However, you might want to check Wangan Midnight‘s website in progress here.
