Miyamoto has new MotionPlus game, Nintendo working on new hardware

Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto has revealed that he’s working on a new game (or possibly games) that utilizes MotionPlus controls. Even juicier, he also confirmed that Nintendo is indeed working on new hardware.

 

 

 

Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto has revealed that he’s working on a new game (or possibly games) that utilizes MotionPlus controls. Even juicier, he also confirmed that Nintendo is indeed working on new hardware.

 

Miyamoto made the above comments during a symposium at the 13th Annual Japan Media Arts Festival on Saturday. Details were largely left out, but he did clarify that the new MotionPlus title is different from the new Zelda game for Wii.

 

As for the hardware, Miyamoto’s statements echoed those made by Nintendo president Satoru Iwata. Both men didn’t say anything other than that, although there have been some rumors that Nintendo will be presenting their new machine at this year’s GDC.
