Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire missions and screens

Even non-mech fans were wowed by the explosive trailer and screenshots of Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire for the PS3 (a.k.a . Mobile Suit Gundam: Target in Sight). And why not? Classic giant robots getting the next-gen treatment deserve our oohs and aahs.

The PS3 version of the game sets the stage for the Federation and the Zeon forces to end their bitter rivalry. With that as backdrop, we can expect a lot of explosive mech action left and right. Being at the helm would entail strategic thinking to accomplish missions – all 50 of them (or even more). One mission puts you in a difficult situation where you have to subdue enemies by destroying their defensive resources. That’s were your talent in blowing up big structures come into play. It would be very helpful if you have a degree in rampage.

If you’re more into stealth play, then the Reconnaissance mission is just what you need. This is where covert operations come into play. Gathering enemy information while hiding behind trees and buildings is as challenging as blowing your enemies into smithereens.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire is Japan-bound on November 11. Until then, feast your eyes on these mecha screens:
