MonkeyPaw is headed by John Grenier, Hudson Entertainment’s former president. While the company has yet to announce any projects, it looks like they’ll be focusing on older games first:
Japan is a mecca of gaming lore and a crypt for many of the best games that MonkeyPaw is going to resurrect. Companies tend to underestimate the fervor that fans possess toward cultural idiosyncratic art, especially in overseas game markets. MonkeyPaw will finally give these games a chance to shine.
The company is teasing a few announcements during E3, so keep an eye out for any updates.
