More about MySims on Nintendo Wii and DS

For years, Nintendo and The Sims fans just had to content themselves with The Sims: Bustin’ Out for the GBA. Then we gave you a brief background on MySims, and a sims title coming up on the DS and the Wii. Now we’ll give you more news on MySims, and we’re warning you, we’re rolling-on-the-floor excited already! (Err, maybe not that much…)

Coming up this fall, MySims will have its players move into a delightful yet disorganized town easily reshapable with the DS stylus or the Wiimote. Get to know long-time dedicated residents like Mayor Rosalyn P. Marshall, Buddy the bellhop, while either building a Pizza Oven for Gino or help setting up a Yoga Studio for Ocean Breeze. It’s your call, also, to build a town full of spooky characters (hmmm…) or a nice little joyful town of healthy, happy sims.

While building up your town, you can also unlock cool new clothing and accessories. Special patterns and decorations are to be had, also, as you advance through the game. And unlike in the other The Sims title, it seems that you can already build homes as well as businesses in one game.

As it is, we’re already noticing that MySims focuses more on the creation of stuff and not a lot on socializing; at least that’s what we hope! Either way, here’s a video preview of the game. Enjoy!
