More Beautiful Katamari screenshots
Heads up, Katamari fans! We’ve got more screenshots from Namco Bandai‘s Beautiful Katamari. In the screenshots, we can clearly see that all the elements in the game are intact, visuals and gameplay-wise.
The prince of the Cosmos is still rolling everything from sumo wrestlers, whirlpools, two headed giant lizards among other stuff – this time in sweet hi-res. Namco retained its overall kooky cut-out cardboard flavor however, so do not expect too much in the graphics department (except for more pixel-crunching action as your ball of junk gets bigger and bigger).
There is something strange though: We noticed that the PS3 has been removed as a platform for the game, leaving us to wonder if it was a mere mistake by omission or an unofficial announcement of the game’s 360-only status.
We wonder if the upcoming video game will still have the loading times (when the Katamari reaches a certain size and the surroundings become smaller). We’ll find out soon enough, so stay with us as we keep rolling for more information.
More screens after the roll…er jump!
